Teach Ye Diligently

D&C 88:78 - Teach ye diligently and my grace shall attend you, that you may be instructed more perfectly in theory, in principle, in doctrine, in the law of the gospel, in all things that pertain unto the kingdom of God, that are expedient for you to understand;

D&C 88:79 - Of things both in heaven and in the earth, and under the earth; things which have been, things which are, things which must be shortly come to pass; things which are at home, things which are abroad; the wars and the perplexities of the nations, and the judgments which are on the land; and a knowledge also of countries and of kingdoms--

Over the years I've often thought that I'm not very deep! I've never really been much of a researcher or a diligent reader. However, in the last few years, I've grown to yearn for information, for knowledge regarding the gospel to soak in all of the information that is taught by our wonderful teachers and spiritual giants

I continually pray for the desire for knowledge and the ability to teach my family the fruit of my labors. May we all yearn to study the gospel more diligently, spiritually and may we retain what we learn and most of all may we love our families enough to teach them how to love the scriptures.
