Love is a verb

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

In this scripture, when it states "as I have loved you", it makes me think about exactly how Jesus Christ has loved people...he served other people, helped, healed, consoled, taught other people; His form of love is a verb. And this scripture continues to say that is how we are to love other people. So then it makes me ask myself how am I loving other people - how am I serving others? Helping others? What am I doing to show my love for others?

Jesus Christ is our perfect example and if we look to Him in all things, we will never be led astray.
