Search the Scriptures!!!

Matt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the ^ascriptures, nor the ^bpower of God.
St. John 5:47 But if ye believe not his ^awritings, how shall ye believe my words? 
St. John 5:39 ¶ ^aSearch the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which ^btestify of me.

We are urged over and over again to search the scriptures: Neh. 8: 8 read in the book in the law of God., Isa. 34: 16 Seek ye out of the book of the Lord., Acts 17: 11 searched the scriptures daily. Rom. 15: 4 through . . . comfort of the scriptures might have hope., 2 Tim. 2: 15 study . . . the word of truth., 2 Tim. 3: 15 scriptures, which are able to make thee wise, Rev. 1: 3 Blessed is he that readeth . . . the words.and so much more....

I don't want to be like one of the 5 Virgins who were not prepared and could not go out to meet the bridegroom! We must find time to fill our lamps daily by reading, praying, and to study the teaching of our prophets. 
Let's work diligently to be prepared so we can go meet the bridegroom!  19 Wherefore, prepare ye for the ^acoming of the Bridegroom; go ye, go ye out to meet him. D&C 133: 10, 19. Love, Tammy
