Candace indicated that when visiting teaching is not done, it is often because the sisters report that they just didn't have time.

Candace referenced a talk given by Dallan H. Oaks entitled, "GOOD, BETTER, BEST." The talk appears in the November, 2007, issue of the Ensign Magazine. After explaining that most of us are very busy doing good things, we would be wise to re-evaluate where we spend our valuable time. Are we spending our time doing "good" things when we could be doing the "best" things? Neal A. Maxwell stated that we all have a personal ministry in this life. Those of us assigned as visiting teachers have a personal ministry toward those sisters. As Elder Oaks stated, we are all busy, we need to focus on the best and try to make a difference. Make our choices not only "good" but make them the "best" choices we can make. Spend our time doing the best things in life even if it means we might have to give up some the the good things we do.
