4 Nephi 15-16 And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people. And there were no envyings, nor strife, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; and surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God.
At the time this scripture was written, it had been about 100 years since the time that Jesus Christ was resurrected. 100 years had passed, and still His love in the air was so thick it was probably tangible! Even though we live in a time with many tumults and strife, isn't it great to know that we as individuals can still have that strong love and happiness in our lives? I know that if we stay close to our Heavenly Father and obey his commandments, if we serve others, love others, and repent often, I know we will have the guidance of the Holy Ghost to bring us peace and comfort.
