Trust In the Lord

My love for the scriptures started my senior year in high school.

The seminary scripture for the year was Proverbs 3:5-6.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and

lean not unto thine own understandings.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him and

He shall direct thy paths."

I had some challenging times in high school (who doesn't, right?)

and it was the first time I realized that I could find peace in

and through the scriptures.

With all that was going on this scripture told me

that if I trusted in the Lord, He would direct my paths in

the way I should go. And He did and still does.

I am SO grateful for the scriptures

and the peace they provide to our souls.
